Kate and Ben's amazing wedding @ Sheenemill
We had such an amazing night performing for Mr and Mrs Larking's Wedding on 30th Aug 2021 at Sheenemill Cambridgeshire (Such a Fab team there!). Like many this year the date was rearranged from 2020, so it was brill to finally celebrate with Kate and Ben, getting the live music flowing for them and their fab family and friends!
The night kicked off with the cutting of their beautiful cake!! What an awesome picture!! The guys also hired our stage letter lights, to give the evening room and stage a personal touch! Our letters are perfect dimensions for the stage (not too big) and gives the room a real wow factor... anyway back to the music!
For their first dance, we played our live rework of 'There Will Be Time' by Mumford and Sons. The guests joined them after a few minutes (official piccy's first) and rocked away with them to the end. It was such a great moment for everyone in the room, the end of the song was met with a massive cheer for the Bride and Groom then it was time for everyone to party!
Then we were off, playing our 3 x 60 min sets and our unique variety of music, solely focused on getting the party started, engaging all the different guests music tastes at a wedding...
Here are some awesome pictures to prove it! The dance floor is such an important place for the evening party, so getting that mix of music right, unifying all the guests around a fab soundtrack is our number one goal! We love a party, as did Kate, Ben . . . and their guests!
As you can tell form the pictures there were some great shapes ... a few perhaps better than others :)!! As the evening buffet was served we took a short break and Mark our sound engineer kept the tunes flowing, picking some of the guests favorite songs as requested in the couples RSVP's! He also took a few requests on the night, and if the band knew any of them, we tried to squeeze them in!
As the night continued the songs and hits kept coming! Oh and WOW Kate was amazing, she showed no sign of wanting the day to end, she was on the dance floor ALL NIGHT, no word of a lie! What a dance floor queen, we're so glad you had a fab night!
Only a few days later we received this AMAZING testimonial from Kate and Ben, we were so blown away. It just makes our job so satisfying knowing we have made such a positive impact on a couples BIG DAY!

Guys we really hope we meet again at one of our gigs one day, we'd love to see you again! All the very best wishes and congratulations again from Martin, Rob, Mark, Tim, Rupert and James. Of course and not forgetting Marie, who works so hard for the band behind the scenes, making sure all of our clients have just as good pre and post wedding support and service as partying on the night!
